I am a conservation ecologist and cartographer currently working with WWF-India as their Coordinator for Spatial Analysis and GIS. I work at the intersection of applied geographic information systems, conservation policy and environmental governance. I’m also interested in the open hardware movement; I used to be a member of the Cambridge Makespace, where I learnt to competently use a CNC router, and am currently in the process of assembling an OpenROV.
As a result, an area of research I’m currently exploring, from practical and theoretical viewpoints, is the use and deployment of technology for wildlife conservation.
